DEADSTROKES (DS) GENERAL RULES

NOTES:  Check DS Penalties page for the severity of punishments. Any complaints about any rule violations are to be substantiated with a screenshot and forwarded to an Admin or HTD.



  1. 1.  Any form of cheating is unacceptable...
  1. The proven use of aiming assistance programs – Category A Penalty
  2. Force Forfeiting another member – Category E Penalty
  3. Leaving on the 8 ball or bringing up the cancel box – Category E Penalty
  4. Other forms of cheating will be looked at on an individual basis
  1. 2.  Language Abuse...
  1. League or NON league ID verbal abuse towards members using C bomb – Category D Penalty
  1. 3.  No member is to ever bring the name of the league into disrepute...
  1. In the lobby of our homeroom or in any other room by spamming or in any other way – Category B Penalty
  2. Lobby talk that is likely to inflame members or non-members – Category D Penalty
  1. 4.  Sportsmanship...
  1. Typing GL and GG (after match completion) is NOT mandatory in DS.
  2. Remember, sportsmanship is more appreciated among members. Treat members as how you would like to be treated.
  1. 5.  Member Disputes...
  1. Any dispute or complaint regarding another staff or league member, must be taken to a private table or YIM, not aired in league's forum or lobby.
  2. Failure to privately take dispute or complaint results in punishment – Category E Penalty.
  3. A Tournament Director is NOT to exclude a member from playing in their tnys - in reference to the last Q on TD application. - Category D Penalty.
  1. 6.  League Racing...
  1. Races are recognized as a legal match in our league. Races may only be first to 3, 5 or 10 and only those amounts of games are to be reported.
  2. Racing problems or concerns, contact RACEADMIN for further assistance.
  3. NEVER under any circumstance race to a number and report more. This is stats manipulation and is not allowed – Category D Penalty.
  1. 7.  League Matches...
  1. League matches must be reported either before another match is played or within 12 hours.
  2. Unreported matches must follow criteria listed above followed by a Complaint Report.
  3. It is imperative that unreported matches include the time, day, and month of the current match played. Without this information, it may result in the match not being reported at all.
  4. Three unreported matches with penalties may result in punishment – Category B Penalty.
  1. 8.  Boxed DS Members...
  1. May NOT participate in hosting tournaments.
  2. May NOT participate in league or tournament matches, or Interleagues.
  3. All matches including races are invalid during the time a player is boxed.
  1. 9.  League Name Change...
  1. Members with a league name deemed unsuitable will be asked to change it.
  2. Failure to comply with a reasonable request to change will result in punishment – Category A Penalty.
  1. 10.  Booting DS Members...
  1. Members may NOT boot fellow league members without the intervention of a TD – Category D Penalty (after one warning).
  2. Members can request a member to leave his or her table. If a member does not leave, use the ignore button for the current match.
  1. 11.  Registering One Account...
  1. League members can register ONE account with DS. If more than one account is detected, an admin will contact you for account clarification.
  2. Multiple accounts per user may result in ALL accounts being deleted including all bux and match histories.
  1. 12.  League Names...
  1. GHOST NAMES deflated names or any otherwise manipulated names will NOT BE PERMITTED in the league.
  2. PROVISIONAL NAMES (a name with less than 20 yahoo games) may join DS.
  3. BOOSTED NAMES may join DS. Be aware, a boosted player loses more points when losing a match.
  4. Boosting in the DS room is prohibited – Category E Penalty.
  1. 13.  Valid Email Addresses...
  1. It is your responsibility to make sure you have a valid Email address. If one is found to be invalid it may result in account removal from DS.
  2. Updating this can be done under User Account on the main page.
  1. 14.  Withdrawing for Bux...
  1. Should you find it necessary to withdraw to rebuild a bux balance then you are NOT to do so until completion of any tournament you are in at the time, regardless of whether you have been eliminated or not.
  2. Admins can help you with restoring your stats but can only do so if you give them notice that you intend withdrawing and then rejoining.
  1. 15.  League Members in the Same Household...
  1. If you are playing from the same computer as another member (husband/wife - boyfriend/girlfriend - parent/child) then you may NOT play in the same tournament together - this is to ensure that all tnys run without hold-ups.
  2. Staff have a list of members in this category and will give the players the choice of which name to remove from a tny if both join.
